Joyce Peterson, 85, a sixty year resident of Las Vegas, passed away January 7th 2017. She was born in Rupert, Idaho on October 7, 1931 to Leland and Hellen Culley. Joyce received her Nursing Degree from Holy Cross School of Nursing in 1952. During her career she worked for St Rose De Lima Hospital and Nathan Adelson Hospice. Joyce was preceded in death by her brother Gerald Culley. Joyce is survived by her husband John L. Peterson; daughter Marisa (John) Moreno; step-daughter Gretchen Lawson; step-son John E. Peterson; granddaughters Ava and Gia Moreno and Vanessa (Brett) Basham and one great-grandson Leighton Basham. Joyce is also survived by her sister Sharon (Jack) Caldwell.
