As their Interior Designer, I had the blessing of working with Joe and Karla on their home here in Vegas. It’s been almost 3 years working with them and the care and love they gave the process is a testament to the love they have for each other and for their friends and family. 

Karla, as Joe expressed in the text he sent me. This is not your forever home. It is here to bring you comfort and joy while you are on this Earth.  Joe is now in Heaven with the Master and Creator, the Architect of our lives. Joe and He are designing your mansion for your forever home. 

My heart is broken for the loss of Joe for all of us here. But I’m sure he is already keeping busy with those who have already passed through this life, helping anyone who needs help, letting his light shine and doing stand up comedy for anyone who will listen 😉

I am privileged to have known Joe, to have been a recipient of much advice on all things business and tech…and to have called him, friend.

God is so good!  I’m so glad that we (cousins) had an opportunity to recently see each other and share memories!  Joseph (little Joe), you will be missed.

Our hearts go out to his wife Karla, Auntie Jackie, Uncle Jospeh (Shunnie) and Cousin Daniel.

Joe was one of the best people I've ever met. Always willing to do anything for those he cared about. I respected Joe and am a better person because of having known him. I feel privileged to have known Joe as a friend and through him his wonderful wife Karla. It tears me up that he is no longer with us. I wish I could be there with his family tomorrow but I will be there in spirit.

Joe was a terrific person, colleague, mentor and friend. I will miss you Joe. I send my love to Joe’s wife Karla, his family and friends.

My wife, Lora, and I had the pleasure of meeting Karla while on a Citrix trip. Sitting down and dinning with Joe and Karla became one of the highlights of our adventures that week. There was clearly a strong, loving connection between Karla and Joe that warmed both of our hearts. I feel blessed to witness this connection in person.

I had the personal pleasure of working with Joe, closely, for nearly 15 years. He was a mentor to me like nothing else I have experienced. His guidance and leadership has shaped my career into what it is today. I am forever grateful for working for and with Joe. 

In many professional relationships, person and work lines never cross. With Joe, I feel that we were truly friends. I enjoyed his company, his stories, and of course his humor. We have lost a most wonderful human. Our deepest sympathies and love to Karla and the rest of the Baker family and friends.

My nephew Joseph was a remarkable person who brought joy and light to everyone around him. His unexpected passing has brought unimaginable grief to our family. His memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Joe was a loving husband to Karla and devoted son to his mother, Jackee, and his brother, Daniel. He was a man of quiet strength and kindness whose calm presence and unwavering resilience touched the lives of many. All who knew him will remember and cherish his quiet demeanor and inner strength.
I will always hold dear the untold number of telephone calls through the years we shared during the day where he spoke of love for his family and of life. He will always be in my heart.
It is truly unnatural and heartbreaking for a parent to have to bury their child, regardless of age. This profound loss goes against the natural order of life and leaves an indescribable void. As a mother, my heart goes out to you, my sister,  in this incredibly difficult and unimaginable time. I hope you find some measure of comfort and strength in your memories and the love and support of those around you. Please know that you are not alone in your grief, and I am here for you, Karla, and Daniel.

Many wonderful memories ❤️  I remember becoming Joe’s  Aunt when I was  at the age of 11 years old. It was a blessing.  My own little Joe, full of hair which blossomed into a big fro.  Also, for some years I kept  Joe’s kindergarten picture hung, on my bullet board in my room as a girl. We have so many fond memories. Joe was truly an awesome guy. My prayers are for Joe’s Family  (including myself), to Heal beyond his loss.  Always in our hearts. In Jesus’ name.  Amen 🙏🏽

I truly thank God for allowing me to call Joe my cousin.  And am even more grateful that we were  a part of each other.  

The family always declared us to be twin cousins because of our birthdays and how we were born a day apart,  in the same hospital, the same year.

But what we both came to realize over time is that our spirits actually were kindred.  As we had a lot of the same interests, and perspectives on life, family, love,  and our future.  

Also, we both shared the same type of quirkieness that some may never get.  Joe truly  was a great man, and an even greater loss to  those that never got the chance to meet or know the inner him.

I am going to miss  my Cousin and  the little past times that no  one may have noticed that we shared.

True friend, mentor and one of the funniest men I've ever known.  Joe had a life well spent by the number of people he touched and shaped...I count myself as blessed to be one of them.  All our love to Karla and family.

Joseph was a joy to work with. A great colleague with an amazing sense of humor. Loved by many and taken way too soon.

Joe was a very special person.  I will miss him dearly.  My condolences to Karla and the Baker family.

I have no words as I’m still stunned by Joe’s passing.  Karla, Joe spoke about you and his parents to us his work family.  His passion for technology, for people leadership, and for just doing great work is something I will always remember.  Always willing to help and to lend a sympathetic ear when needed.
