My last fond memory of mom was when she & dad was sitting on the couch in the Vegas family room looking at old photo albums. I can still see in my mind the big smile on her face as she pointed to some pictures. Dad then makes a comment while mom reacts by hitting him & they had a good laugh. Dad loved to tease mom & I know mom loved his twisted humor. It’s a sight I’ll miss. I didn’t need to know what they were talking about it’s the image I’ll treasure forever.

But what I’ll miss the most is her singing while cooking our meals. I can still see in my mind the image of her smiling as she cooks, hear her singing, smell the food, & eventually recall the taste & feel of every morsel as it goes down to my stomach. Sinigang, Kare Kare, Okoy, Champorado to name a few, but just like John mentioned in his eulogy her Menudo was also my favorite.  All my senses will never be satisfied all at once like that again….

Dear Rey and Family, 
May the LORD be your refuge and strength in this time of sadness and grief. May you find peace and comfort in HIS enduring love.
We will always remember Josie as kind hearted, unselfish, loving and caring. Forever, we will treasure our friendship, the precious memories and travel experiences we shared. We thank God for those wonderful moments. We will surely miss her. But knowing that she is now in the loving arms of Our Heavenly Father, brings comfort and peace in our heart.

Tita Pina, our times together at Adelina, Dansalan and points beyond will be cherished.  There was always so much love and so much sharing!  You have taken care of so many people and now you can rest.  Thank you and I will miss you!

Dear Tito Rey and family, 

Our deepest condolences on Tita Pina’s passing.  She left us with many fond memories including the last time we had dinner together in Las Vegas.  She had the kindest heart and the warmest smile.  We have witnessed her dedication to family, especially her grandchildren.  She also showed a great love and respect for her siblings, including my Dad.  I remember her cooking his favourite foods every opportunity she had when she visited Vancouver.  She was profoundly impacted by the death of Tita Cecy when she became the last surviving sibling.  Her love for family was clear and was prominent in her values, her actions and her words.  She will be deeply missed.  
We pray that she finds her way to God and all her loved ones that have passed before her.  We pray that you find solace and hope that she is in a much better place where she will be waiting with her warmest smile.  We pray that when our time here does come to an end, we too will find our way to paradise.

And we pray that Tita Pina’s legacy of faith, hope and love will guide us throughout our lives.

My heartfelt condolences to the Reyes family. Tita Pina was always so fun and generous whenever she visited us in Vancouver and I will always have these great memories to remember her and my Tito Rey by. It's hard to believe an end of an era with her passing, as she was the last of the Domingos in my father's family and the Tita I knew most along with my Tito Manuel. I guess these siblings can reunite once again.

Thank you Tita Pina for everything. You are God sent for your love, kindness and generosity. We love you and will miss you.

I’ve been a good friend of John’s since elementary school, I’ve known John’s grand parents since I was young. His Grandma was always so nice, welcoming, caring and loving. I was on a trip with John in Vegas and they made me feel right at home. Showed me such amazing hospitality.  May she Rest In Peace.

We met Rey and Josie thru bowling.  Eventually,Mario joined their team and we became friends.  We enjoyed their company and  grateful to be one of their many friends.  We will cherish the happy times we shared and will miss Josie very much.  She is now in the company of our Lord.  Rest in peace Josie and will pray for your final journey home. As exemplified in the attached photo, Tita Josie had a great smile and always enjoyed family get-togethers.  I will miss her kindness and how she would always greet me at our gatherings with, “Hi, Porsh!”

One of our favorite memories of Kumareng Josie was spending Saturdays playing mahjong, laughing and talking—while the kids played together. Josie, may you rest in peace. Sending our love to Rey, Jocelyn, Jun, and Ron during this difficult time.
