Jonean Ruth Diaz, passed away peacefully March 26, 2011. Born on April 23, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio, Jonnie worked 18 years for ITT- Gilfillan in Van Nuys, Ca. She retired to Las Vegas 22 years ago. Preceded in death by her son, Robert, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jim; daughters Sandra, Lisa, and Laura, honorary children Juan , Carol, Toni and Willie; 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and her special baby “Dutchess”. Special thanks to Nathan Adelson for compassionate care, Juan and Carol for their support, and Willie for never leaving her side. She was a member of St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church. Services are private. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Cheyenne Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
