Johnny was born January 2, 1945, in Arkansas then shortly after his family relocated to Arizona. As a young man, he served in the Army and did a tour during Vietnam. He was always very proud to have served his country. In his younger years, he enjoyed racing various vehicles, competing in different events like the Mint 400 and Parker 400. As he got older he found a love for golfing and Ducatis, riding weekly up until he got ill, and always telling Vivian he only rode under the speed limit. He worked in the construction industry up until his retirement in 2006, where he became one heck of a house husband. He loved his family, his hobbies, and his pets very much. He had a wonderful sense of humor and kept laughter until the very end. He will be very missed by all of his loved ones!
