John Francis Ward, 64, of Las Vegas, passed away on August 28, 2011. John is preceded in death by his loving wife Kathleen A. Ward. Born in Evanston, Illinois on June 10, 1947 to parents Edmund and Elaine, John was a physician assistant for the Veteran's Administration. He served honorably in the United States Air Force for over 20 years serving during Vietnam and Desert Storm. John is survived by his loving children Heather Allen and Brian Hubbell and grandchildren Marissa Bachman and Michael Allen. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 3:00-7:00 pm with funeral at 7:00pm, all at Palm Mortuary, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue.
