Born in Cohoes, New York, Jack was the son of the late John S. Sr. and Sophie Fleszar Stoberski of Cohoes, New York. He-graduated as Cadet Lt. Colonel at the military school, LaSalle Institute, class of 1954 in Troy, New York and attended Notre Dame and Niagara University. He lived in the Las Vegas area since 1978. He was the founder of Las Vegas Golf Consulting, a marketing and golf reservation company, served as Business Development Manager for Las Vegas Internet Partners as well as Sales & Marketing Directors for Las Vegas Tee Times, Angel Park and Legacy Golf Courses. He served as Director of Operations for a retail golf company as well as VP of Sales and Marketing for a company manufacturing golf clubs. He was the Business Development and Marketing Officer for Butch Harmon Golf Events and Consultant for Reflection Bay Golf Course. He was actively engaged as President of Las Vegas Golf Consulting.
Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Winifred A. (Winnie) Boland Stoberski and brother-in-law, E. Richard Boland. He is survived by his devoted children, daughter Cathleen (Gary) Mascitelli and sons John J. (Maureen) Stoberski and Michael E. (Holly) Stoberski; step-grandsons, Jesse Bennett, Steven Bennett, and Anthony Mascitelli; step-great grandsons, as well as several cousins.
Sports, and Golf specifically, was his favorite activity and way of life. Jack was loving, generous, creative and always put the other guy first. A man of integrity and compassion he enjoyed life and being with family. Jack and Winnie loved to travel to their favorite vacation spot in Maui, Hawaii.
