John Soto Sr., 75, of Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 5, 2010. He was born Feb. 11, 1935, in Gallup, N.M., and was a 17-year resident of Nevada. John was a retired director of quality control for the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Anthony Soto. John is survived by his wife, Celina Soto; daughter, Deborah O'Hara; sons, John Soto Jr. and Daniel Soto and wife, Sharon; daughter, Vivian Niles and husband, Randy; son, Robert Soto and wife, Anita; daughter, Gail Soto; brothers, Alex, Carl and Mike Soto; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.
