John A. Morrison, age 64, of Henderson, passed away after a long illness with his loving wife at his side. He was born June 28, 1948, to his parents, Everett R. Morrison and Helen June McCreary, in Omaha, Neb. John and his wife, Deborah, moved to Henderson in 1997 from Omaha. John was a retired architect of the Clark County School District. He actively participated in his professional organization, CSI, where he served as an officer for several years. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marilyn Morrison and Judith McCormack; brother, Robert Morrison, all of Omaha. He is survived by his wife, of 24 years, Deborah Dunlop-Morrison; son, Lee Morrison of Omaha; nephew, Michael McCormack, his wife, Cindy, and their children, Tyler, Tanner and Kirsten, all of Omaha; and niece, Carla Nagy, and her husband, Zsolt Nagy, of St. Paul, Minn. There will be a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.
