A 1971 graduate of Hampden College of Pharmacy, John was a retail pharmacist for 47 years. He began his career at Ryan Drug before purchasing Wilbraham Pharmacy and finally retired from Louis & Clark/Big Y in 2018. Upon retirement, John and Faith moved from Wilbraham, MA to Henderson NV because, as he would say, “you don’t have to shovel sunshine”.
John loved his tools and enjoyed woodworking. He was an avid golfer and longtime member of Wilbraham Country Club.
His greatest joy in life was teaching a lesson through his great wit and humor.
John was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Marion Hall of West Springfield, MA. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Faith of Henderson, NV; son Benjamin Hall and his wife Shelly of Wrentham, MA; daughter Amanda LaScala and her husband Sacha of Henderson, NV; sister Leslie Pirnie and husband Thomas of Westfield, MA; brother Kenneth Hall and wife Eileen of Gainesville, VA; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Hall of Providence, RI and Lea Hall of Wrentham, MA, along with many nieces and nephews and friends.
