John J. Daley, 99, a resident of Henderson, passed away June 2, 2016. He was born February 22, 1917 in Choteau, Montana to his parents Freeman and Patti Daley. John worked as a Civil Engineer for most of his life until retiring to Nevada in 1975. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend who enjoyed spending time with his family, singing, playing the guitar, hunting and traveling. John was preceded in death by both of his lovely wives: Lorraine for 37 years, and Betty for 35 Years. John is survived by three children: Joseph F. Daley, Mary Ann Marshall, and Patti Ann Kennedy; six grandchildren: Nancy, John, Ryan, Chris, Morgan, and Sean. A Celebration of Life service will be at 1:30 PM Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Willow Creek Assisted Living, 3351 N. Buffalo Drive. John will be missed by everyone who knew him. “You will remain in our hearts forever!”
