Joe M. Cox, 77, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, October 4, 2010. He was born February 3, 1933, in Grant City, Missouri, and was a 13-year resident of Nevada. Joe served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a retired business executive for IBM. Joe is survived by his wife, Jane F. Cox; son, Joe M. Cox II (wife, Terri) of New Canaan, Connecticut; their son, Michael Cox of Los Angeles, California; daughter, Christine F. Fitzpatrick (husband, Tom) of Warsaw, Indiana; and their son, Thomas Fitzpatrick of Bloomington, Indiana. Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 9, at Desert Springs United Methodist Church, 120 N. Pavilion Center Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada. Inurnment will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
