Joann Runion went to be reunited with her loved ones in Heaven at the age of 80 on Tuesday August 13, 2019. She was born October 19, 1938 in Newport, KY. Joann worked most of her life as a Bingo Agent and Manager in several casinos in Las Vegas including The Western, The Landmark, The Continental and Palace Station. Her Family was the most important part of her life. She spent a lot of her free time donating money to the casinos and CVS Pharmacy. She had a tremendous sweet tooth from cakes, to candy to donuts. Those that knew her loved her.
Joann was preceded in death by her husband Jack Runion Jr. as well as her parents Eleanor (Flaherty) and William Mullen, her three brothers – Albert Mullen, William Mullen and Robert Mullen, two sisters – Eleanor Harden and Ethel Bass and three grandchildren – Jamie Metz, Christopher Metz and Melissa Metz.
She is survived by her 4 sons – Paul (Elizabeth) Metz, Tony Metz, Mark (Diane) Metz and Kenny
(Charlotte) Metz and her 3 daughters – Terri (JR) Yoast, Jenifer (Tim) Cameron and Robin (Tony) Devault. She left behind her beloved 16 grandchildren – Stephanie Fair, Sara Berens, Josh Metz, Jacob Metz, Chrissy Vest, Mark Metz Jr., Jaclyn Smith, David Metz, Isaiah Metz, Samuel Metz, Ashley Cameron, Annesha Cameron, Tim Cameron Jr., Lorenzo Cameron, Austin Devault and Alysa Astudillo. She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren – Dakota Yoast, Kyla Severs, Emma Berens, Kaylee Vest, Ashlee Vest, Levi Metz, AJ Smith, Lila Smith, Jade Bowens, Kayla Jacka, Haylee Jacka, Brian Osgood, Tyler Osgood with another on the way Ava Grace Astudillo and 1 great-great granddaughter – Aurora Yoast. Joann is the youngest of 8 children and is survived by two sisters Jeanette Ruebusch and Mary Lou Arthur and many loved family members and friends.
