Joan Miller

Joan Miller was born the youngest of four children and only daughter to Mark and Doris Miller on December 3rd, 1936, in Savannah Missouri. She grew up in Hawthorn, CA and eventually made her home in Las Vegas in 1968. She worked in administration for the Clark County School District for 27 years. After retirement she devoted herself to full-time support of her family. A loving, generous, and kind mother, grand-mother, and great grand-mother; she enjoyed camping, cooking & baking, quilting, fishing, and traveling with her family. She is survived by her brother Raymond Miller of Tucson, AZ. Children Robert R Pritchett (Pahrump, NV); Karla Bearden (Daniel) of Las Vegas, NV; Gail Alvarez (Jesus) of Temecula, CA; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her brothers Duane Miller and Roy Miller.

A Celebration of Life for Joan will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, followed by a reception from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
