Jim Francis McMahon

James (Jim) Francis McMahon, 76, of Las Vegas, passed away on December 21, 2022 at Centennial Hills Hospital. He was born on October 7, 1946 in Sioux City, Iowa to Claude Vincent McMahon and Elda A. Stowe. In 1965, after graduating high school, he join the United States Air Force. He served as a Logistics and Supply manager and retired in 1985 at the rank of Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Air Force, he continued to work in Logistics and Supply Management for the next 30+ years.

He is survived by his wife Sofia McMahon, of Las Vegas; his daughter Kelly Petty and her husband Ryan, of Lakeland, Florida; and his son Daniel McMahon and his wife Lisa, of Arlington, Tennessee. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Ian Petty and his wife Sofia, Meghan Petty, Emma McMahon, Patrick Petty, and Olivia McMahon, his two great grandsons, Ezra and Levi, and two great granddaughters due in March 2023. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers Bill McMahon and David McMahon, his sister Claudette Joshi, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by granddaughter, Alaina Petty, his father Claude McMahon and his wife Betty, his mother Elda Noe and her husband Wayne, and his sister Barbara Hulett.

A visitation for Jim will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. A committal service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
