Jesus Colon Escobedo, 73, a retired farmer, of Las Vegas, passed away November 21, 2011. He was born October 7, 1938 in Jerez, Mexico and had been a resident of Nevada over 15 years. Jesus is survived by his faithful and loving wife of 49 years, Petra de Colon; his children, Esther Colon de Escobedo (Jesus Escobedo), Juan Colon Arellano, Margarita Colon Arellano (Benjamin Perez), Griselda (Rogelio) Sanchez, Joaquin Colon Arellano (Oralia Carrillo), Cristina Colon Arellano (Eduardo Lozano), Maricela Colon, and Jesus Colon Arellano (Claudia Gastelum); his grandchildren, Susy (Justo), Claudia, Karen, Stephanie, Lupita, Emily, Eddie, Neila, Jesse, Roy Diego, Eliany, Alexander, and Alan; his great grandchildren, Eric and Angelique; his siblings, Geronimo, Margarita, and Alicia Colon Escobedo. He was preceded in death by his brother Victor, and sisters Juanita and Blasita Colon Escobedo. A funeral service will be held on November 30th at 12pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S.
