Jessie James Harris

Born July 22, 1937 to Jessie Harris and Mattie Bell Burney-Harris. Jessie accepted Christ at an early age in Plain Dealing, LA. He took great pride in the workmanship of his home and his garden. Jessie retired from Northwest/Delta Airlines after working for 29 years. In 1993, he returned to work again and worked at Union Plaza Hotel for 10 years here in Las Vegas, NV. He became fully retired in 2007.

In 1966 Jessie met Doris M. Pennington in Phoenix, AZ. They were married on July 18, 1966 in Phoenix, AZ. To this marriage 1 son, Darrell Kevin Harris (Family – Domeka wife, Children, Meyani, Darrell, Jr. and Natalie, 1 daughter Christine Harris of Shreveport, LA, her 2 children, Allison and Kristian.
