Jerry V. Waddoups, 73, of Las Vegas, passed away July 22, 2012. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a retired truck driver. He was born May 31, 1939, in Salt Lake City, and was a resident of Nevada since 1995. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Waddoups; sons, Shawn Arnold and Darin Arnold; daughters, Jenelle Taylor, Jennifer Phillips and Jessica Stubblefield; two brothers; two sisters; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, July 26, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. There will be a second visitation 9-10:30 a.m., Friday, July 27, with services following, at Silver Stone Ward, 8755 Iron Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89143. Burial will follow services at Palm Memorial Park-Northwest. Donations may be made to American Heart Association .
