Barbara, I am sorry to learn of Jerry’s passing. Many years ago I had the pleasure of hiring Jerry into the mental health system in Las Vegas. It was a joy to work with him. He bought me a bro-comb for my Afro-haircut. Bob Taylor

Dear Barbara (Jerry always called you Barbara!), 
Looking through the photos of you and Jerry, and Judy and I brought back so many wonderful memories: the trip to Hawaii we planned for 5 years, the frequent vacations in Florida, the cruise and the gatherings together when the two of you were secretly married and of all the people at Lad Lake only Judy and I knew! Your surprise 25th Anniversary and all the the return trips to Milwaukee when we would get together. I will truly miss my good friend. Like my son Todd told me, he and mom (Judy ) are sharing BLUE MARGARITAS in HEAVEN waiting for the two of us. I love you Jerry..........Eric

Jerry was such a wonderful soul. I was lucky enough to have him as my godfather and have such great memories of him and Barb. He’s laugh and million dollars smoke would light up a room. Rest easy, JQ.

Jerry was a very special nephew of ours.  Whenever he arrived back in Milwaukee he would call us immediately and say, "I'm home, where are we going to get something to eat?"  We enjoyed many long conversations, accompanied by numerous laughs and family reflections.  We we will miss Jerry terribly.

Spent many a days with the Qualls family while I was matriculating at UW-Whitewater.  His sister, Pearlie, was my Soror.  I remember that Jerry made the best cornbread ever!


The boys and I are going to miss our yearly visits out to see my uncle. Every year they looked forward to going out to see uncle Jerry and aunt Barbara. They loved the visits to their house where they would spend the whole day in the pool. Uncle Jerry filling their bellies up until they were ready to burst. I wld say that's enough, he would say that's OK, you want another one go get it. The interesting places he and Barbara would have planned for us and take us. I had just told him I needed him to get better, I needed him here with me a little longer, he was the last one I had left on my Father's side. He was always encouraging and had our backs at anytime. We love and miss you so much Uncle Jerry.

Nothing is more painful in this world than losing someone you love so dearly. You have left some wonderful memories that will never fade from my heart.  R.I.P Uncle Jerry Ill always love and miss you. 

My memories of Jerry make me smile his smooth dance moves his smile and easy going ways. His delivery in giving me advice did not make me defensive. The last time I saw him was a family reunion in Milwaukee, we had cocktails with him and Barbara I really enjoyed that time.Love you Jerry looking like your mother💛💛
