In May of 88 Jerry started working at Ballys', starting off as a laborer and soon after becoming the engineer truck driver until he was able to retire before his death. He loved to hunt, fish and track, a true outdoorsman. He was also the best smoker and griller of meats and made the best chili.
Jerry married and lost his first wife Jerri Lyn to cancer in 2001 leaving behind a grandson, Edward who he was a big influence on.
Jerry & Gina met in 2001 and fell head over heals for each other, they married in 2006, and Jerry helped raise Jasmine (12) and Gary (10) and has been a big part of oldest son PJ's life also. Grandkids soon followed and adored their grandpa or papa Jerry as some called him.
In May of 2016 Jerry was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was the beginning of Jerry's fight. During this time Jerry did carpentry work to keep his mind busy and he made some really beautiful things.
On November 28, Jerry was baptized by Pastor Rob and made his parents even more proud of him. Jerry has been a loyal and caring loving husband, son, brother dad, grandpa, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, he will be greatly missed by all.
On December 5, 2017 we lost a beautiful soul. No more pain no more suffering. Only love and peace in the Valley. We all love you so much and will miss you forever.
