Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, moved to Las Vegas in 1953. Graduated Western High School in 1963 where he sang choir and started playing the trumpet. Enlisted in the Navy and joined the Navy Drum and Bugle Corp and spent some time in Vietnam. Was an avid SCUBA diver and golfer throughout his life. Went to work at EG&G Inc then on to owning his own Wallpaper Installation company for 23 years and then becoming Facility Manager for Treasure Island Hotel until his retirement in 2017. Was always the life of any event he attended and had the best sense of humor. He loved his Patriots, cigars and good whiskey.
He is survived by his wife and best friend Ginny; daughter Kyle; son Jay (Judy); step-son Mike (Tammy); five grandsons; one granddaughter; and brother Raymond.
