Jeffrey "Jeff" Carlis of Las Vegas passed away suddenly on September 20, 2016. Jeff Carlis never met a stranger, and loved his extensive list of friends, business associates family and life with a fullness not often seen. He was a sensitive, caring man who consistently reached out to all who he knew with a kind word or a loving gesture. A graduate of USC, Jeff has lived in Vegas for more than 20 years. When he wasn't working or networking, he was golfing, watching sports, spending time with his family or enjoying any sporting event that was on TV. An avid golfer, Jeff boasted about the two hole-in-ones he made over the years. Jeff was honorable, sincere, generous and loving to the end. His father Ray preceded him in death. Jeff is survived by his mother Claire Carlis, sister Marla Carlis, nephew Shane Carlis Stoutsenberger and a myriad of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm on Wednesday September 28, 2016 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made in Jeff's honor The Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer. King David Memorial handled the arrangements.
