Hello, I'm not sure if you read these but Jarod was, from what little I've seen of him, a really funny guy. He looked like he really enjoyed cosplaying, and I know for sure he lived a happy life before he went. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.

You were and will always be the most amazing soul, I /We ever had the pleasure of knowing. You connected with us in such a way; that I don't believe we'll ever experience again. If we do, we hope you are either reincarnated or came back to haunt us (in the bestest way imaginable). They say life is short, but knowing you was an eternity in ways only The Force would know. Jarod was truely the kindest and most altruistic person I ever met. He went out of his way to talk to people and show kindness at a level that really made me think the human race isn't all that bad. He wanted nothing in return except your time to talk about anything and everything. Even if he couldn't give you the best advice, after talking you would just feel better knowing he cared. The love and care he gave was truely something special and something I hope others will pass on, to carry his legacy forward....

I never got the chance to meet him in person, but I felt as though I had known him most of my life. We met over Facebook at one of my lowest points in life and he did nothing than bring a much needed, bright light to my life. I loved him so much and I will forever wish that I had gotten to spend more time with him. He was truly one of a kind. A beautiful soul.

From the Duncan family, the Pugliese family and the Nichol family we miss you terribly. As a cousin of Jared I remember the good times that we had together. Lots of Christmases and get together‘s. You are always the cousin that we looked up to. Even though we haven’t seen you in years we were all torn up to hear of your passing. Joey found out on TMZ of your passing. To all those out there that have a estranged relatives, Life is too short to be upset. We’re very proud of you for the man you became. I’m just glad I got to share a brief moment at my sisters wedding with you. We will all miss you!

Jarod was a great guy and always there to lend you an ear. It was always great to see him at conventions and finally going out for Ethiopian food that he always talked about. Known him since we met back at Anime Expo 2001 and it was fun to cosplay with him at least once. He will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace brother.
