Janet Weber, 83, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, crossed the veil on February 9, 2021, at the Pacifica Green Valley Memory Care Center, after an 8-year battle of Dementia. She was born May 22, 1937 in Logan, Utah. Her parents were Mondell Weber and Mary Tibbitts Weber. At the early age of 2-years old, Janet's mother, Mary, passed. Shortly after, Beth Cannon Weber became her mother. Janet had four brothers, Norman Weber, Richard Weber, Karl Weber and Garth Weber.
Janet graduated from Logan High School, and moved to Las Vegas in the early 70's and worked for more than 35 years in the retail clerks union as a grocery clerk. Janet was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and after her retirement, she volunteered as a Temple worker in the Las Vegas Temple for 11 and a half years. Her hobbies included, crochet, knitting, tatting, quilt making, and she even enjoyed singing in the Desert Chorale group for many years as well as her Sunday church meetings.
She is survived by her children, Kristy Willden, Tresa Pena, Kirby Barkdull, Scott Barkdull and Edwin Hill.
She has 13 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be held on March 5, 2021 at Palm Eastern Mortuary. Viewing will be from 12:30pm to 2:00pm. Services will begin at 2:00pm with the burial immediately following the service.
