Upon arriving in Las Vegas in the 1970s, her brother taught her how to deal a ‘good deck of cards.’ She held a long-standing career in the casinos and was a trainer herself, showing many co-workers how to ‘deal a good deck of cards.’ She took a lot of pride in sharing her knowledge with anyone that wanted to learn.
Jane was very outspoken and gave sound advice. She was very crafty and enjoyed making homemade gifts. Her selfless love for her family shone through with everything she did, and her kind heart was always welcome by everyone she met. In her retirement years, Jane enjoyed Facebook, gardening, cooking, reading a good book, and spending time in the sun poolside.
She loved our Lord, our GOD, and savior Jesus Christ. Jane loved her daily scripture. Her life was a living example of Bible verse Ephesians 4:32 - “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
Jane is survived by her siblings Jimmy, Joe, Mary Ann, and Robert; her daughters Melinda, Marie and son-in-law Edward; four grandchildren, Ashley, Keith and daughter-in-law Corrie, Derek, Dillon, and five great-grandchildren, Aubrie, Hunter, Ember, Baylie, and Taylor. Her brother Jerry preceded her in-death.
She will be laid to rest with her mother and brother at Palm Eastern Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later time. Please leave a favorite memory or a loving thought to be uplifted to her and the family.
