James Sherburne, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on October 11, 2024 at the age of 90. Jim was known for his great sense of humor, his love for sports and his dedication to his family.
Born in Long Beach, California, Jim moved to Dallas, Texas at a young age. After serving in the Army from 1953-1955, he pursued his passion for geology and math by attending Texas Tech and A&M. After graduating, Jim began a successful career as an electrical engineer.
Jim lovingly supported his wife Diane, son Richard, son Robert, daughter Sandy, and granddaughter Emily.
With a great group of friends by his side, Jim lived a fulfilling life full of laughter and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Jim.
