James Lauber

Jim made a name for himself as a successful mason, owning his own company, Design Masonry in Las Vegas. He was well known for his impeccable work and did jobs for Wayne Newton and Siegfried & Roy. Later in life, he and the love of his life, Louise opened Lou’s Diner which turned out to be a very popular and successful business.

Jim is survived by his wife Louise Broadhead Lauber; his five children Carl, Lisa, Corie, Jeff and Kevin. He had fifteen grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, David and Kip.

Jim loved spending time with his family, hosting BBQ’s, tinkering around the house and building jigsaw puzzles.

Visitation will be held at 12:30 followed by services at 1:30 February 18, 2024 at Palm South Jones at 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
