Born Isaiah Williams to Vinnie Hawkins and Willie Williams (both preceded him in death) on August 08, 1932 in Canton, Mississippi. Isaiah was second born of six children.
The family relocated to Delhi, Louisiana where Isaiah attended school until his relocation to Las Vegas, NV at the age of 16 to find a job.
Isaiah knew God at an early age and had joined Seven Star Baptist church while living in Delhi, Louisiana.
He became a laborer and worked in anticipation of owning his own company. Frontier Construction was his first business and Chevron Gas Station was the second business he owned, which was located at the corner of Bonanza and Highland, now known as MLK Blvd.
Isaiah met and married Orline Browser December of 1954. To this union, 12 children were born. They were married 62 years.
Isaiah loved to read. He had an abundant collection of various books and encyclopedias.
Isaiah leaves to cherish his memories: wife; Orline Browser Williams, Sons; Percy Washington, Bobby Washington (Doris), Isaiah Williams Jr.(Hazel), Johnny Williams (Franceta), Mike Williams (Shamiel), and Gregory Williams, and one son James Bowser who preceded him in death, Daughters; Ida Bowser, Linda Williams Alderson (Joe), Ruby Williams, Julia Ann Williams (Tony), and Sharon Williams, siblings; Living; Lessie Wheat, Clara Mae Harris, and siblings: Cleveland Ford, Willie Jackson, Margaret Staten who have preceded him in death, Grandchildren and great grand children, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Isaiah loved his children and grandchildren and was a provider, not just the basics like shelter, food, and clothing, our dad believed in us. He never had a mean word to say about anybody.
Isaiah will be greatly missed by all who knew him
