Isabel J. Goldberg, 61, a retired synagogue administrator, of Henderson, passed away on Sunday March 3, 2013. She was born June 25, 1951 in New York, NY and was a resident of Southern Nevada since July of 1978. Isabel was a past President of Midbar Kodesh Temple of Henderson, past executive director of Temple Beth Sholom of Las Vegas, served on the board of directors for Jewish Family Service Agency of Las Vegas, was a member of The National Association of Synagogue Administrators (NAASE), and a member of The National Council of Jewish Women. She also participated in the Young Leadership Program for the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas and was owner of Las Vegas Dine Direct for seven years. Isabel is preceded in death by her father, Harry Jaroslow and sister, Paula Victor. She is survived by her husband, Ira, of Henderson; mother, Min Jaroslow of Las Vegas; sister, Carol Cohen of Henderson; four nieces, Marla (Leonard) Rosenthol of Pennsylvania, Robin (Frank) Hymson of Pennsylvania, Aileen Cohen of Las Vegas and Lesley Cohen of Henderson; and one nephew, Eric (Barbara) Victor of Pennsylvania. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday March, 5, 2013 at 1:00pm at Midbar Kodesh Temple, 1940 Paseo Verde Pkwy Henderson, NV. Burial will follow at King David Memorial Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas,NV. The family request that donations in her memory be sent to Midbar Kodesh Temple. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
