Iris Phillips passed with peace and grace with her family at her side on March 3, 2015. Iris was born November 11, 1935 to Bill and Jackie Pierce. She met and married Jerry Phillips on November 11, 1952 and was blissfully married for 62 years. Iris was a gifted storyteller, dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She loved to paint, travel, play Scrabble, and read. She had the ability to light up a room and befriending anyone she came in contact with. Iris was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Phillips. She is survived by her brother, Dr. William Pierce and sister-in-law Liz Rocklin; children Kathleen Arnold (Robert), Kevin Phillips (Sara), Nicole Cortney (Chris), and Jon Phillips. She was the loving grandmother of Gaston, Evan, Shalee, Lacey, Christian, Brandon, Joscelyn, Ariana, Kennedy, Carson, and Quinn. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 1:00pm at Palm Mortuary on 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123.
