Irene Marie Hansen

Irene Marie Hansen, age 95, of Las Vegas, went to meet her Heavenly Father on Easter Morning, March 27, 2016. She was born October 12, 1920, in Trinidad, Colorado. Her parents were Kathryn Higdon-Bell and Claude Bell. Irene was a Las Vegas Resident for 71 years. Irene was a waitress at the Thunderbird Hotel. Irene was a loving and wonderful person who loved her family and many friends of all ages. She was always there to help no matter what the situation was. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glenn Hansen and brother, David Bell. Irene is survived by her two sons, Charles Wortman (Frances) and William Wortman (Bonnie), Four granddaughters, Corinna Wortman-Smith (Tony), Cheryl Wortman-Henry (Keith), Kimberly Wortman-Killian (Josh), Kari Wortman-DaBell and nine great-grand-children, Erin, Joel, Angelina, Brandon, Mason, Lauren, Christian, Sophia, Cameron and three great-great-grandchildren, Lucas, Nolan and Graysen. Irene had many great nephews and nieces and sister in-law, Nita Bell. Visitation will be, Sunday, April 3 from 1PM to 5PM. Services will be on Monday at 10AM to 11AM. Burial will follow the services at the Garden of Roses, Palm Downtown Mortuary 1325 North Main Street, Las Vegas, Nevada. Irene will be missed by her family, relatives and many friends.
