Herbert Marks passed away Sunday Sept 6, 2015 from cardiac arrest. Herbert was born August 17, 1927 in New York City. He received a degree in sociology from City College of New York and continued graduate studies at Columbia University. He was a stock broker who worked on Wall Street for over forty years. During his long Wall Street career he worked with legends such as Sandy Weill and Carl Icahn. After retirement in 1996 he moved to Las Vegas. He continued to trade the stock market and write political commentary until the last two weeks. He was married to Florence for sixty seven years. He is survived by wife Florence, sons Daniel and Allan and grand children Jordan, Alyssa, Amanda, Jeffrey and daughter in laws Iris and Pam. Services at King David on Wednesday September 9, 2015.
