Helen Rico

Helen Rico, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 27, 2018. She was born on January 30, 1923 in New York City. Helen will be fondly remembered as the heart of her large family. She loved to play bingo and watch the Yankees and the Golden Knights. She cherished her role as a mother which led to her most beloved role as grandmother and great grandmother. Helen had a gift for story telling that has left a legacy of laughter that will never be forgotten.

Helen will be greatly missed by her daughter, Deirdre (Tony) Savino; son Rick (Deb) Rico; sister Lucy DiBenedetto; brother John DiBenedetto; grandchildren, Donna (Joe) Rainone, Christine (Carlos) Huerta, Jennifer (Chad) Robinson and Tina (Kyle) Smith; great grandchildren, Antonio Rainone, Noah Huerta, Wyatt Huerta, Zoey Robinson, Kyan Smith and Keira Smith; along with many other beloved relatives and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Rico; and brothers, George DiBenedetto, Eddie DiBenedetto, Larry DiBenedetto and Tony DiBenedetto.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd. in Las Vegas at 11:00am with lunch to follow at the same location.
