Helen Koch

Helen Koch, age 95, went to be with Jesus, July 14, 2017. Helen was born in Chicago October 8, 1921 to Willard Russ and Ruth Jeffries Russ. She married at 18 to Ira Barchard Jr, and had three children. She worked at Illinois Bell for 35 years. She then married Richard Koch (Pontelis Kochiorumbus) in 1964. He was the love of her life. They retired in Florida where they lived 17 years. They relocated in las Vegas in 1999. That made five generations living in Vegas. Helen was proceded in death by her husband Ira Barchard, her husband Richard Koch, her brother Willard Jr. and Kay, her son William Barchard and Arlene, her daughter Carol Barchard Wheeler and John. She is survived by her daughter Vernie Borgersen and son-in-law Bob Borgersen, sister Dorothy France (Jim), nephew Steve Rempas, 6 grandchildren, Linda Dubinoff (Scott), Cyndi Joseph (Raymond), Janet Perez, Kevin Barchard (Debbie), Dean Barchard (Sue),Sarah Humphreys (Denver), her 14 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She loved life to the fullest and always had a smile. She was a loving and beautiful woman and will be missed greatly by her loved ones and all who knew her.
