Helen C. Dixon, age 88, of Las Vegas, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 in Las Vegas. Born May 17, 1929 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, she had been a Las Vegas resident for more than 40 years. Mrs. Dixon worked as a Front Office Manager for Western Outdoor Advertising, retiring in 2007. She was an active member of the Eagles 1213 and St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, was an avid crafter and loved the holidays. She was close to her family, making every day special. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marl and seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children Barbara De Masi, Bobby Dixon and Marla (Jason) Kleitz and one granddaughter, Alecia Dixon. Funeral mass, 10am Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Family will receive friends from 3-7pm Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Entombment, Palm Northwest Cemetery.
