Harold P. Foster, 72, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, April 21, 2012. He was born July 15, 1939 in Las Vegas and graduated from Basic High School in 1957. Harold went on to attend UNLV and graduated from UNR with a degree in business administration. He was employed by the City of Las Vegas for over 30 years. The last 10 years of his career before retiring were spent as director of planning and community development. Harold's proudest accomplishment was his family. He was married to the love of his life, Linda Foster, for 51 years. They had two wonderful sons and three beautiful grandchildren. Anyone who knew Harold knows that his other passion was a great game of golf with his buddies. He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Mary Foster; and his sisters, Annette Trejo and Loretta McKinney. He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Michael Foster of New York City and Scott Foster of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Dylan, Ava, and Landon Foster, all of Las Vegas; sister, Evelyn Foster of Mill Valley, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. His kindness, humor and friendship will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 28, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S.
