We still think of Greg often and include him in our daily prayers.  He will never be forgotten, and will always be missed.

I met Greg in the fall of 2000. I was a new nurse to the Vegas area and Greg took me under his wing and showed me the way to be the best I could be. He challenged  me to learn and reach for what I thought was the unattainable, he taught me to believe in myself. I saw the passion and compassion he had for his team members and our patients. I was in awe of his knowledge base and his ability to teach new skills with such passion...he had such an incredible love for his family and friends. He was taken from this world too soon and will be missed terribly. I wish much love, prayers and peace to his family.

It has been over a month since you left us.  During these past weeks, I have been overcome by the stories shared on social media about how many lives you touched and influenced during the past few decades.  I couldn’t be prouder of all of the great work you did during the course of your life.
I am so sorry; I took for granted that you would champion this horrible illness.  Never in my wildest dreams did I think we wouldn’t speak or see each other again.  
We didn’t communicate often, but I always knew that if I needed you, you would be there… our family is forever changed by your absence.

Brother Greg,

It's been a month since you have been gone - the outpouring of tributes and fond memories about you on social media has been amazing to read. 
I'm sure I can speak on behalf of our entire immediate family  wishing that we were around more to witness the countless unselfish acts and deeds that you performed through your many years in the medical field. 
Unfortunately, I usually only got to be part of the occasional phone call from or to you where I could barely understand what you were saying because you were always talking so fast.  You always seemed to be in a hurry to get to where you were heading next  throughout the course of your day...
Greg,  we are hopeful that you are at peace and reunited with our  loved ones that are no longer with us.   Dealing with the loss of Christopher was truly a daunting task and we all know you tried the best you could to make the most out of every day after that tragic accident.
Bryen and Kristin, please know that I love you very much and you both are in my thoughts on a daily basis.  Keep in touch and let me know if there is anything I can do to help ease the pain of yet another tragic Peistrup loss.

Today is the day of your funeral, Greg, Sat., Oct. 3, 2020, and so many memories came rushing to my mind today. Memories of the days when we  worked together at Valley Hospital ER and then at Mountain View Hospital ER (Dec. 1995 - March 2004). Never forgot you, Greg, because like so many other of your colleagues, friends, patients, etc. whose paths you crossed during your lifetime, you left an indelible mark on mine and everyone's heart and soul. You were special...one of a kind...intelligent, but never thinking you knew more than someone else. In fact, you always shared your knowledge and skills with others not to make yourself look better than them, but instead to help them be their best selves, so they in turn could reach out to others and leave that same mark of genuine care and concern for others, especially during challenging times. There's much I want to say, but most importantly...thank you Greg for all of your kindness, for making tough days not so bad after all, and for never stopping to strive and deliver the best healthcare to people in Las Vegas and beyond. You were a true professional and the Nursing Profession has lost a one-of-a-kind Practitioner. In addition your family has lost one of their own. I'm truly saddened for all of them as well. I know that we will all see you again in the here after. Thank you again, Greg, for being the fun-loving, adventure seeking and full-of-life man that you were because we were all able to go places just by listening to your many stories. God's speed, Greg, and until we meet again in Heaven. There you are, Greg, out in front of me charging up the hill (or is it a mountain? or a giant mountain belonging in the Tour de France?).  As we climb, you kept hollering back at me, checking to see how I was doing.  (I am dying but I’m not telling you!)  I think you might have been happy to stop and take my pulse and blood pressure to see how I was doing. 

Onward we went into the clouds. (Well not quite, but almost!)  The atmosphere became thin (in my mind), and my legs could barely turn the pedals. Now, I am passing Blue Diamond park on my left and I need to stop.  (Whew!)  You coasted back to where I am resting and asked if I want to continue upward or turn around and head home?  (Heck yes, I want to head home!) I manage to get the shoes hooked to the pedals and we start down.  You say, “Be careful.”  (I am thinking, “Be careful of what?”)  Then it happens. You are shooting down the hill like a screaming bullet and I am behind you wondering what happens if I lose control of the bike?  How do I get my shoes unlocked from the pedals when I am going 60 miles per hour?  Maybe it was faster.  My heart was beating 60 miles per hour as I held on for dear life.  At the bottom of the hill there is a stop light.  Try as I could, I could not get my feet unlocked from the pedals.  The bike falls to the ground.  I almost do, too.  Finally, the light turns green, I get my feet secured to the pedals, and we continue the mad rush home. 

Upon dismounting, I reveled in the realization of what you caused in my life.  You caused me to do things that I had never done before, even in the presence of substantial fear.  In so doing, you made me feel better about myself and my abilities.  As for you, it was just what you do; you made those around you function at a higher level. I hope that someday we can ride together again.

Greg, although I have known you since your infancy, I did not really know you until 2012 when your mother, Gail, and I finally were able to get together and ultimately become husband and wife.  We enjoyed our yearly trips to Las Vegas. During the time we spent with you in the house you shared with your lovely wife Kristin, sons Christopher and Bryen, and the dogs, I learned that you always wanted to make those around you better than they were.  You wanted your patients to get better and you functioned and competed at high levels regardless of the challenge.  

Everyone fortunate enough to know you benefited from you trying your darndest to make them better.  Following is my favorite example of this wonderful desire of yours.  It involves a bicycle ride that you and I went on in the Summer of 2013. At the time, I was a 70-year-old flatland biker using only toe clips for my regular outdoor 15 mile rides.  In the winter the rides were on stationary bikes in a fitness center.  Greg, you insisted that I use son Christopher’s bike and Christopher’s special shoes that locked onto the pedals. In other words, Heaven help you if you had to dismount quickly or get the toes in the clips quickly after a stop.  After a few trips around a parking lot, you declared that I could manage being out on the road. (What were you thinking?) I was scared.  I could not dismount or restart gracefully. What would happen if I had to stop for anything, like at a stoplight, for example?  But, I did not have the courage to tell you my fears and so out onto the road we went.  

Soon, we were heading west out of town on Route 160, Blue Diamond Road.  (Good!)  Only a couple of stoplights where I had to get my shoes unlocked and relocked so that I could gracefully dismount and restart.  Next thing I know, we cut right heading up the mountain.  Perfect, no stoplights, but a killer grade.  

Dear Greg,

I am writing this entry in your memorial guest book on your 54th birthday--October 7, 2020 at 11:00 p.m. CST—exactly 54 years after you were born. Your brothers, sister, and I are incredibly sad that we will not see you again in this life. Even though you moved to Las Vegas after you were discharged from the Army, your Illinois family kept you and your loved ones close to their hearts.

On Monday, September 7, you texted me to let me know you had tested positive for Covid-19. You were angry the hospital had demanded you and your colleagues stop using high tech respirators. You knew the replacement respirators were inferior, putting you and your coworkers at higher risk.

The following day, Tuesday, September 8, you weren’t feeling terribly sick, so you made blueberry and cherry kolachkies and sent me a photo of them—complete with powdered sugar sprinkled on top. Today, in honor of your birthday, I made kolachkies for the family—complete with powdered sugar sprinkled on top.

In the days that followed, we texted multiple times a day. Your mind went from thinking about dying to ranting about the Democrats to commenting on the Cubs pitcher throwing a no hitter on September 13. Our last text was on Wednesday, September 16. I remember saying that if I lived closer, I would make some homemade chicken soup for you. 

Somehow, Greg, when the world wasn’t looking, you slipped away from us—phone in one hand and nebulizer in the other. Perhaps you waited too long to call for help, perhaps the drugs overpowered your senses—whatever the exact circumstances caused your life to end, we mourn for you, we pray for you, we treasure our memories of you, and we wish you peace.

Geez Greg how could a microscopic virus take down a giant of a man such as you?
There must have been a vacancy in Heaven for a big-hearted clinician and you were chosen.
Met this guy somewhere in the 1990’s in the Valley Hospital ER medication room.
He had just screwed up mixing a bag of IV medication so already being a veteran RN I advised him on how to do it correctly.
That was the last time he would need my help because he soared into his Nursing career like an eagle flying up to a cloud.
Brilliant in so many ways.
Many of us eventually walked in his shadow and were honored to do it.
You never turned that smile upside down.

When I first met Greg we became fast friends and allies as we both were indoctrinated into the Bell family. One of my fondest memories of Greg was when we were paired up in a game of “Catch Phrase” and for me, a few too many drinks later, my descriptions of the words got a little more explicit, but Greg got all of them, because he was just that good.  Greg was the kind of guy that would reach out to me, at random times, checking  in on me and Jack.  He didn’t have to, he just did.  When I got remarried he called me just to say he was happy that I was happy. That meant a lot.  With Kris, he was the Ying to her Yang and were the absolute perfect fit for each other.  I am forever grateful for knowing Greg, for him sharing his humor and seeing his love for his wife and boys.   Love ya bro.

Every moment I spent with Greg are memorable. From laughing so hard which at times brought me to tears, to calling and asking for “favors”...he was always there. He was always the life of a party. I never saw him without a smile. 
We will miss Greg dearly. 

So many fun memories with Greg. Work of course and how he was always willing to jump in and help. You always knew it would be a good night if Greg was there. He was so kind and encouraging to everyone no matter what role they had in the hospital. Greg was always down for some after work fun and never flinched at our shenanigans. Beer fests, birthdays, Sunday morning breakfasts. Such a great man. Will be greatly missed. 


Well brother, in about forty minutes we all get together to say our final goodbyes to you.  Never in my life would I have imagined I’d be doing that. You were a great friend, a wonderful man, and the very best roommate.  It’s definitely not going to be the same with you gone.  A piece of you will always be with me, especially when I fence.  And I mean that literally, because I still have your underwear in my car from our last tournament together. I could explain that but I think I’ll leave that story hanging. I can see you smiling that stupid sarcastic smile, pointing your finger and saying, “Riiiiiggghht!”  If I ever win a medal, I’m gonna wrap it up and let you help me carry it home like we always talked about doing!  You were the most awesome friend- Thank you for that, with all my heart.  Love and Miss You, Pie!  Rest In Peace and say hi to Diane and Mystro for me. 

Greg will be missed so much. We are at a loss for words at this time. He was our go to guy for everything. He will  forever be in our thoughts and memories

Greg was always a pleasure to work with in the ER.  As we shared many common interests including martial arts and fencing we had great times together.  It was an honor to be a friend and colleague.  

My friend Greg,
There are so many memories to share. It has been a pleasure and an honor to work beside you. You were a mentor, a friend, a brat and absolutely one of the most sarcastic people I have ever known. That is why it will be so hard to see patients without sitting beside you.  You cared about your family but also were so passionate about medicine and the care you gave everyone.  You took care of your friends and often worried about things that were going on with us.  You were quick to feed us, ask about our days and offer sarcastic but loving advice...even if we didn't want it. 
     I will always sing the meth song and think of the treats you would bring in. I will always treasure the advice and the second opinions you gave me. I will always remember you rushing in to see the most critically ill patient and and how you were not afraid to be the NP that most of us aspired to be.  I will miss our talks about our future NP plans and school.  
      Most of all I will miss hearing stories about your adventures, you becoming a grandpa and how excited you were about it. I will miss hearing the love you have for your family and ways you planned to spoil them. I miss already future parties, jokes and learning experiences. 
     You are gone far to soon.  We would bring you back if we could. We would take away pain  we each feel for losing you, each in our own way.  Medicine has lost a great provider.  I have lost a great friend. Your family has lost more than I can list. 
     Greg, we will miss you forever and will never be quite the same,  Rest my friend.  You were a super hero. I always teased you about wearing a cape. I know that is true. You are a hero.

I met Greg the second day that I lived in Las Vegas twelve years ago and we became friends immediately.  It was because of him that I pursued an advanced degree.  I find myself fortunate to call him a friend.  

I met Greg one time for about 10 minutes. However, before then, I could tell that he was a man of integrity and a great father just by meeting his son Bryen. I could tell in 10 minutes that he was giving, kind, supportive and nonjudgmental as he willingly and without hesitation shared something that he loved with a complete stranger (me). I saw that in Greg within 10 minutes of meeting him therefore, I know for sure that anyone who have known him longer has been blessed with his love.  
Now that his spirit is alive, he is able to be everywhere for everyone.  To the family, The Young's express our sincere condolences with love and gratitude of the 10 minutes that changed our lives forever. We love you all from a spiritual human connection that will will never be forgotten. 

So sorry for your loss. May his memory be a blessing.

I worked with Greg as a PA in the ED at the Valley Health System.  He was a wonderful co-worker and was always very pleasant to work with.  I cannot tell you how sorry I am to here about his passing;  just shocking!  You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers.  

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.

When I think about Greg, the Iron Giant, I can't help but smile.  I have such fond memories of him. He helped raise me as a new grad ER nurse and laughed through an patient exam because I didn't know what I was supposed to do.  He was always teaching us.  He kept work fun with a joke and a great smile, and he was always quick with a hug when you needed one.  
My favorite Greg memory is his dancing. He danced with all his heart, arms and legs everywhere, loving every minute. He danced like he lived, larger than life, adventurously, bringing joy to everyone.   He loved his wife and sons, and was a wonderful husband and father.
Our emergency community has lost a wonderful person, Greg will be greatly missed.

I met Greg at North Vista ER while working as a medical scribe. He was one of my favorite providers to work with. He kept our shift lively with his songs and jokes, he never missed an opportunity to make fun of me being vegan.  We would often compare military stories, but my stories were boring in comparison to his. The funniest memory I have of him was when everyone was ordering food from Wingstop and I was asked if I wanted anything Greg shouted out "What is she gonna get fried carrot sticks and celery?!" When I made the decision to move back to the east coast and told him how terrified I was of this change, he encouraged me to take the leap regardless of how scared I was. He was such a supportive person and always gave great advice. He'll be missed dearly. 

I first met Greg at Valley hospital then we both ended up at Mt view.  I loved hearing all his stories from climbing to horses to his travels. He was always the nicest person never judge always makes you laugh I will forever miss hearing him call me little kim and his hugs.

I would first like to say I am sorry for your loss. Greg was always so kind to me. I got into a car accident and as soon as he heard he'd always offer me a ride home. "You can ride in a luxurious car". I always told him No, but I feel like I should have took that one joy ride. Greg also invited me on a trip with his family, because he found out I planned a vacation alone and well he didnt want me going alone, but then BOOM COVID happened and ruined all vacation plans. Greg was so real. He was never fake to me. Whatever he has to say he said it straight to your face. 
I will never forget greg sayin "porn with subtitles". I made the mistake saying foreign movies with subtitles and some how everyone that night heard otherwise, and It definitely stuck to Greg! It stuck to Greg like the word "Meth". I hated it, however now  thats something that won't leave my head.
The last time I got the opportunity to see Greg, his son was supposed to come in and do the wobble. He came in however, no wobble. Greg really did want his son to do the wobble that night.
BUT! that was a Great wobble. 
I would like to end this off by saying thank you to Greg's wife for all the amazing snacks you've made that greg has brought in, I haven't tried it all, but everyone that I did try tasted amazing, we'll miss those great snacks. 
Again, I am sorry for your loss. I'll Miss Gregory so much but for right now we'll just pretend he is  somewhere else enjoying that new hip.

Words will never do justice to the impact that you have left on all of those around you. As each day goes by, I am saddened by the fact that we will no longer have the opportunity to trade Emergency Department adventures. Although, I only knew you for the last year the influence that you have left on me will last a life time. Kristin and Bryen I know that my feelings of loss pale in comparison to yours. Know that he loves you and always talked of you at work. You were the most important people to him and he was sure to tell us all just how much he thought of you. I could always count on you. There were times when North Vista would feel as though it were "busting at the seems" with patients, but you were a great partner to "dig in" with and do the best things for our patients. Your example of seizing each moment and living life to the fullest are forever an example to me and I am so grateful that I was able to participate if only in a small way in the legacy that was your life. I will miss you, my friend. I hope that you have a great reunion with your son. May your family be comforted in this difficult time and draw peace, happiness, and strength through the great memories you shared and the strong bonds that you forged. Until we meet again.

I didn't know Greg except through others who had the privilege to know and work with him. There were many things shared but one which stood out was his care for others. What a heart. He poured himself into his patients, nurses, staff, and many others too many to mention. Rarely do you come a across a human being with such credentials. Rest In Peace brother. I pray the Lord will care for your family as will your friends. Thank you for all you did. I wish I could have met you, my the Lord comfort those who did and miss you.

Although I only knew Greg for a short period of time, it was clear he was a cool guy to work with, and an overall amazing person to know. My deepest condolences to his entire family. It was very obvious how much he was loved.

I first met Greg early in my career, and I knew he was somebody special. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, never hesitated to drop everything and give you his undivided attention. I would call him for advice and he would talk my ear off for hours, always leaving me with a smile on my face and a stronger determination to achieve my goals. He always pushed everyone he came across, not just myself, to continue education and never stop learning. He loved his family, he empathized with his patients, and he genuinely cared about his EMS family. He kept striving to make medicine as innovative and progressive by making sure everyone coming into the field were becoming the best versions of themselves.  Greg will truly be missed, but never forgotten. 

I met Greg early in his career it was before he earned his nursing degree.  I was charge RN at Valley Hospital and he was hired as the first triage "tech".  I remember he pulled out his wallet and showed me all his achievements WOW  very impressive.  Later in life I went on a live aboard dive trip and Greg was on that trip. I did not have a partner so did my diving with GREG, safety was number one to him and under the water I always felt safe following him and the compass.  Greg was a powerhouse in the medical community, smart,confident, caring, we will miss him. Oh Greg,
I was lucky enough to work with Greg way back when at Lake Mead Hospital when I was a lowly ER translator / Tech going to nursing school.  But no one was lowly to Greg - he always valued everyone equally to himself. Always encouraging - sometimes translated as pushy- but not a single mean bone in that ridiculously tall body.  

It doesn't surprise me in the least that Greg  would be in the thick of things when the goings got tough, because he was always up to something or going somewhere I would never consider going,  but he always seemed invincible. I am so sad to be proven wrong on that account. 

The world was a better place because Greg was in it and a poorer place in his absence.  I hope your family is comforted by the tremendous legacy you leave behind.

I’ve had the hardest time trying to figure out what to write about someone who was so inspiring and loving. Someone who was never selfish and always had time for others. You were so proud of me when I told you that I was going to go to nursing school, you said “Finally”. I’m going to miss you coming in with your three bags of medical gear, laptop and lunch box along with sweets that Kristin made and still ask me “what’s for dinner Ro?” Knowing damn well we were going to get Thai almost EVERY TIME. I will forever treasure the little knickknacks you brought me from different places that you visited outside of the US, especially the elephant keychain you brought me from Thailand. You had so much knowledge to give to others and I’m sure you paved the way for future medical personnel and it’s because of you. I was looking forward to you being there at my graduation from nursing school just a few short years away because my dad wouldn’t have been able to come since his passing six months ago.
I could probably write a whole book on all of the memories we experienced in just 4 years. Although most of them would be at 17:01 when we would be intubating our first patient of our shift. I think we set a record. Kristin was the love of your life and you were so proud to be Bryen’s father. You spoke about them almost every shift. They were your life! And we were anticipating the arrival of your granddaughter. I told you that she was going to make you an even bigger softie and she would be spoiled rotten. I’m going to miss you terribly Greggy Poo. It still feels like a nightmare but I’m slowly waking up and I know you’d want us all to be strong.

Kristin & Bryen ...my heart is so heavy for you and all of Greg’s family. My hope is that you will smile thru the tears remembering the wonderful memories of this man who was truly 1 in a million. Greg is so loved and he knew how to live life to the fullest. So many of us lived vicariously thru him and will cherish all of our memories with Greg. His impact on so many people’s lives is amazing and speaks volumes of his character and the person that Greg was. I have no words my friend, except my heart is broken! Rest easy pal💔 

Greg was an amazing inspiration and a great friend. I will always remember the lessons he taught me from when I was a little green scribe to becoming a PA. Stephanie and I will miss you dearly.

I met you in 2003 when I moved to Las Vegas. I got a job as a CNA in the ER at Mountainview hospital. You taught me so much as a CNA and now LPN. We spent so many New Years at moutainview working and your sons would be there with us. You would make dinner for everyone that worked New Years. When you left with your NP you stayed a friend and I could call or text you if I needed anything.  I was fortunate enough to work with you again at north vista hospital and I was so excited to be working with you again. The last time I saw you was a year ago when we went to our friends graduation from nursing school. I will never forget you Greg. My heart is broken for Kristen and Bryen. You are loved and never forgotten. 

Greg, you were larger than life. I would not be the provider I am today without your care and guidance. You wanted me to learn so you saved central lines for when I came into my night shift. With glee in your eye, you told me to get ready. You made me reduce my own bones and told me I was weak if I didn't do it myself. You even taught me how to do my first penile block for a man on too much viagra. All men with the same complaint should thank you for that one.
I'll miss working side by side with you. I'll miss our sushi dates. I'll miss sending selfies during our night shifts. I'll miss hearing your ridiculously scary scuba diving stories and then in the next breath telling me you'd train me. I'll miss your terrible golf swing although it helped us do pretty damn well in that charity event. I'll miss your jokes and our laughs together. I'm heartbroken. This is a huge loss especially to the emergency community and the city of Las Vegas. You were a major influence on this city and the Ems community and I'm proud that I even got to stand in the same room as you. My thoughts are with your family. Rest easy Gregorio.

Greg and I were long distance friends. We met when we both worked with FES. I loved my phone conversations with him. He was always a bright light. He always told me, when you come to Vegas you can stay with us. I am so sorry I didn't get the chance.  His Legacy will live on.  

As I tried to do this all I heard was Greg calling me a social media retard! I could feel his smile thru the phone. The family that raised Greg poured good seed into him, he was an incredible man, father, husband, & Lord knows friend! For whatever pain I feel it doesn't measure up to yours. I pray U know God is able & He will keep U. I can hear Greg saying Girl shut up crying, I'm good, watch my wife, son & future princess. So I'm going to stop crying But will continue to keep U all up in prayer. God bless U all!

A great man has been lost


Greg, I admired you as a nurse, revered you as an NP, appreciated how you raised and taught your boys about the arts, love how you loved Kristin, and am forever indebted to you for believing in me.  I’m quite sure I would have lacked the guts to venture into the ED without your encouragement.  Each time you brought up a patient to the floor, you also brought your smile and light.  Thanks for pouring into me, into us, countless us.  

There are patients I remember because we were in the room together, saving them.  There are ailments I remember because you were so fixated on them (Diabetes Insipidus!).  I was fortunate enough to taste your cooking – those were the best NOC shifts!  I will treasure my recollections of your shenanigans and deep talks.  I am blessed to have known you.   The void is huge.  Your loss is personal and professional.  

Nurses have a knack for “eating their young”…I never, never saw you do that.  The best thing I can do to honor you and our profession is to pour into others.

I remember you asking me if I was already a grandmother. “NO! Of course not!” Now I realize you had just found out you were going to be a grandfather. You would’ve been a great grandfather.  I wish I could have learned more from you. You will be missed and I know heaven now has another angel. Blessed and honored to have met you, your friend, Martha.

Then I had the pleasure and opportunity to be your Medical Assistant working at Southwest Medical Convenient Care.  You were always pushing me to become a RN, and in May 2021, I will graduated with my BSN. You promised to be at my pinning ceremony and place my pin, now what am I to do.  You were an amazing friend!

I did not now Greg but I know that he was a great man. I know that he probably helped me in the many ERs that I or family have been too my prayers go out to my friend and her family that are left behind. 

Greg was quite a character.  I went to his office at Halo to meet him so he could refill a prescription of mine.  Once there, he introduced me to an intern that he was teaching and preceded to tell her to "do all your training" on me for practice.  She checked my balance, reflexes, all kinds of weird (to me!) tests while he sat there, and casually asked me, "So Billie, how's the coke habit?"  The intern face was priceless as she tried to remain professional.  I ever so politely tried to tell her that it wasn't true... and Greg just sat there grinning from ear to ear.  That's the Greg I knew.  Always smiling, laughing, and always willing to lend a helping hand.  My heart goes out to Kristin, Bryen, and all the family and friends of Greg.  Such a tragic loss for all that knew him. ❤️

My first time working with Greg was a fixed wing flight, he was mad at me because I could stand up on the plane and he had to almost crawl to get to his seat!! We started a friendship right then. He will be missed greatly! Sending love, prayers and thoughts to his family! Bless you all!

My first memory with Greg and I was when we both worked together at Lake Mead Hospital I knew he prepared a room because the beds would be raised to the highest he would say they have to be high because the tallest one in the room is the best lol. There aren't any words to express my sorrow over Greg's loss of life.  My heart, thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time and always.  Greg's heroic, selfless dedication to the medical profession and helping others leaves a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him and his memory will be kept alive in the hearts of the many lives he touched.  He truly lived a life to be celebrated.  I pray that the sorrow you feel in your hearts lightens by the love that surrounds you.  I keep you in my heart.

     HERO!!  Based on what others have said Greg put himself in danger regularly and whenever else he was needed. I hope his eulogy will specifically include the fact of his ongoing HEROISM. 
     Greg and I became friends while we were  at Marquette University. I remember him fondly being easy-going, funny, and sincere. Upon the news of his death, I discovered he affected my life more than I realized. I discovered this when I found myself quite upset and crying after hearing of his loss.
     May God hold in His hand near His heart all of Greg's family, friends and others who will mourn and miss him. May He sooth your hearts while you mourn in your own ways. I sincerely hope God also helps you find the strength to celebrate his life, remember the funny & good things he did, and find peace at your own paces.
     Greg, may your life, legacy and HEROISM  be remembered for generations. You are loved, will be missed. Most of all, I hope you will watch over your family and help them as God will allow.

Greg was our dear son-in-law and caring health provider whenever asked.  We have many great memories of family dinners, holidays, and especially travel.  We’re so glad we had the opportunity to travel with a Greg, Kris and Bryen.  Greg on vacation was a fun thing to see.  He was relaxed and funny and up for any adventure.  We will miss him greatly as we do all we can to support Kris and Bryen and baby Asia.

Greg was there for me more often than I realized. He was the first person I called when my mother passed away and someone who I could always go to if I needed honest advice. He was the first to tell me if I “put on a few pounds” or if I did something stupid. I’ll always remember his brutally honest sense of humor. One of the smartest men I’ve had the pleasure of knowing, gone much too soon. 

I cannot imagine not seeing him walk through our store doors.  He was a part of our family there.  Had the honor of knowing him for over 10 years and refer to him and Kristin as friends. It’s so devastating and am still so shocked.  Just last month he was texting me regarding my husband, Dave, as he was suffering through Covid himself.   He was keeping me positive and giving advice.  I appreciated that very much.  Thank you, Greg, for being an amazing, fun, positive and a great force in this world.  We will continue our friendship with Kristin to remain close to you as well.  Love and miss you.

We managed to stay in touch through the years after I moved from Vegas in 2003.  I cannot imagine him not being here sharing his light with the world and encouraging others to their greatness. Greg was our college roommate at Marquette.  He was high energy,   caring and always a great guy to have around.  We lost track of each other, as many people do, after college, so it was bittersweet to hear how much he continued to touch other people's lives until the end.
