Gregory L McGee was born January 8th, 1960 and was a native of Las Vegas Nevada. His mother, Josephine moved to Las Vegas, fell in love with and joined union with Greg's father, Curtis Ennis. Josephine & Curtis had five children, Greg being their first born. From his birth, Greg was instilled with Morality, Relentless love, and compassion for his family. Greg leaves behind his sibling's, Cassandra, Anthony, Michele & Michael. Greg graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1978 and began working when he was only 12 years old when he took on the roll as the provider for his mother & siblings. Even with Greg's health obstacles as a teenager, he was still able to work, play sports, graduated with honors, maintain an overall GPA of 3.7, while continuing to provide for his family. His father, Curtis got him his first job at the Hacienda Hotel at age 15 where he trained him to be a cook, and Greg continued to work there for 20 years. In October 1993, Greg went on the work at & open the Treasure Island where he remained until his passing.
In the winter of 1977, Greg met the mother of his children & his wife, Michelle. In 1980 Greg and Michelle welcomed their first-born child, Stephanie M. McGee. In July of 1983 Greg and Michelle got married and 1984 they had their second child, Gregory L McGee II. Greg also leaves behind 6 granddaughters and one grandson whose ages are from 20 years to 2 months old and a host of nieces and nephews whom he also helped raise and taken care of.
That is just one of his chapters. This man was always true to his word, a man of many dimensions, father, brother, provider, confidant, protector, grandfather, mentor, idol and in general authentically good human being. There will never be anyone that can fill this man shoes. In his most current time, Greg mostly enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. Although he is no longer with us, remember he is now at peace, he is now with his mother, whom he never stopped mourning; although it is bittersweet he is reunited with his mother and father at their healthiest. He gets to feel the love that we all felt from him then.
