Sondra GAIL Schaus Gail Schaus of Las Vegas, NV lost her battle with breast cancer on October 31, 2014. Gail was born October 12, 1952 in Memphis, TN. She leaves behind her two sons, Michael (Kimberly) Schaus and Trevor Schaus. Six grandchildren: Alisa Schaus, TJ Schaus, Madisyn Schaus, Masen Schaus, Jacob Schaus and Jessica Schaus. Gail also is survived by her father Miguel "Mike" Alvarez, her sister and best friend Yvonne (Charles) Koch, her brother Curtis "Kirk" Thompson, and her beloved Persian cat Abby. She will be missed not only by her family but by an incredible amount of close friends that she had been blessed with throughout her life. Gail will be remembered for her writing talents and her gift of making people laugh with her keen sense of humor and quick wit and her non-judgmental ability to accept everyone as they are. Even though she lived many years her life was cut too short. Her family and loved ones will continue to ask "why" she had to leave so soon but are assured that she is in now in Heaven with the Lord Jesus and all that have left before her.
