A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Gail S. Hollopeter passed away on November 17, 2018 at the age of 63. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring grandmother and a faithful friend who stayed connected with her family and friends. Gail enjoyed being the person of the family who remembered everyone’s birthdates and anniversaries, playing bingo, watching her soap operas and talking on the phone which was her prime entertainment. Gail had a giving heart especially to those who called her their “second” mother. She was an excellent listener and she was always ready to give sound advice to anyone when needed. In addition, Gail had a sense of humor and she enjoyed the fun-loving teasing from her family. She was a good sport. Gail’s warm smile and love will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Valerie Stern; and her only son, Jeffrey Hollopeter.
Gail leaves to cherish her memories her supportive husband of 42 years, William Hollopeter; daughter, Lisa Hollopeter; two granddaughters, Samantha and Alexis Hollopeter; two brothers, Michael (Madeline) Stern and Mark Stern; in-laws, Shelley (Mike) Gathright, Carole and Bill Weber, Jessica and Richard McDowell, Jim and Marsh Peters; cousins, Mike and Olga Brunett; and extended family members.
