Our beauty Queen, Gabrielle, was a true blessing to anyone that was fortunate enough to have met her. Growing up she had a passion for cheer and was the best of the best in her squad. She excelled in her studies and graduated top in her class. Her love for family and close friends was remarkable.
Gabrielle was a free spirit, but yet, very grounded and level headed. Her love for life was profound. She loved hard and had a deep passion for those she cared for. She was as sweet as candy and always had hugs and loves for everyone. So forgiving and understanding.
Gabrielle was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter and cousin. She had many aspirations and goals but unfortunately was taken too soon to accomplish them. Gabby had her struggles with some of her choices, but who doesn’t. She was trying her hardest to find her way home, but tragically found her forever home instead.
Her loving memory will warm our hearts eternally and we as a family hope to carry her message into our lives daily. She was so incredibly special to all of us. A true thing of beauty she was, like an angel and unfortunately angels belong in heaven, not in this wicked world.
It brings her family great comfort that she will be resting next to her great-grandmother Joyce Johnson and awaiting us all when God calls our names. Until then sweet Gabrielle, rest in peace and we love you for always.
You are beautiful, my darling,
Beautiful beyond words.
Your eyes are like doves
Behind your veil.
Your hair falls in waves,
Like a flock of goats winding down
The slopes of Gilead.
Your teeth are as white as sheep,
Recently shorn and freshly washed.
Your smile is flawless,
Each tooth matched with its twin.
Your lips are like scarlet ribbon.
Your cheeks are like rosy pomegranates
Behind your veil.
-Song of Songs 4: 1-3
The Lord is my shepard;
I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green
Meadows; He leads me beside
Peaceful streams.
He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
Bringing honor to his name.
Even when I walk through
The darkest valley,
I will not be afraid
For you are ever with me
And you not leave me to
Face my troubles alone.
-Psalms 23: 1-4
