FREDERIC FOLEY Frederic Foley, 87, of Las Vegas, a 65 year resident, passed away Monday, October 9, 2018. He passed comfortably while in hospice care after a short period of illness. Frederic was born November 1, 1930, in Boston, Massachusetts. He served three years in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his discharge, he relocated from Northern California to Las Vegas for better job opportunities. He was immediately drawn towards the Casino glitz and glamor, working in the gaming industry for over 50 years. In his retirement years, he could be found enjoying the warm weather and sunshine on the golf course. Fred was survived by his daughter, Kathleen; son, Patrick; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Viewing will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, October 19. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 20, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.
