On Sunday morning, August 8, 2010, Freddie Garcia, 41, of Henderson, NV took his first breath in Heaven. He had courageously and relentlessly battled cancer for the last four years. He relinquished his battle with the blessings of his wonderful wife, Kim, supportive sons, Isaiah, Jeffrey and Derrick Garcia and loving mother, Sandra Mary Garcia and family.
Freddie was born in Amarillo, TX on November 28, 1968. he was a graduate of Caprock High School. He had big dreams and relocated his family to Las Vegas, NV where he joined the All-Star Bail Bonds Family and became a valiant Bounty Hunter.
He had many great qualities, but most of all, he had a natural big and loving heart with a soul that could shine in the darkest of times and places. He never hesitated to help, listen or provide. His passion and priority was his family. As for his three sons, they thank God for blessing them with an amazing father. He was strong, resilient, and the rock of the family. Always encouraging and pushing them to exceed their limits and accomplish their dreams.
His favorite past time activities were sporting events, fishing, boating and working on his famous 1971 Super Sport El Camino with of 600 hp, you could feel the ground rumble. He was in another world when he sat in his car, it was his sanctuary.
Freddie loved people and people loved him back. He was the greatest son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend anyone could have been blessed with and was a remarkable man.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Garcia and three sons, Isaiah, Jeffrey and Derrick Garcia of Henderson, NV; Sandra Garcia, mother, of Amarillo, TX; mother and father-in-law, Alice and Paul Valverde; siblings include Annette Garcia, spouse Antonio Chavez of Amarillo, TX; Tony Garcia, spouse Esther Garcia of Henderson, NV; Alexander Garcia, spouse Raquel Garcia of Amarillo, TX; Sylvia R. Griego of Austin, TX; and Martin Garcia, spouse Sabrina Garcia of Henderson, NV; Mike Valverde, brother-in-law, spouse Becky Alderete of Henderson, NV; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loving pets.
Freddie Garcia was preceded in death by his grandmother, Micaela Garcia; his brother, Johnny Dale Garcia; and dear family friend, Angela Mayfield.
A celebration of Freddie's life will be held at 1 PM on Friday, August 13 at Palm Mortuary located at 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123. Family and friends are welcome to share their stories about Freddie's life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Solari Hospice.
