Frank, you came into my life when I was 11.  Even though you were just beginning a new life with my sister, you welcomed me into your home like a sister /daughter.  How did you know that’s what I needed at that time in my life?  I have the best memories of going to your parents’ to swim in the pool,  endless bbq’s, renewed my belief in Santa Claus, teaching me to drive, dealing with me through my difficult teenage years.  Thank you Frank for always being there  even when you were 3000 miles away. I’m going to miss you and will always cherish all our wonderful memories.  I love you, Sue

This is my favorite picture of uncle Frank & my dad together. I will miss our conversations which usually included the accomplishments of his children & grandchildren. He was very proud of all of them. I enjoyed his occasional "off" sense of humor and his attention catching stories. Sometimes when he called me he would start out by saying, "hi Ellen it's uncle Frank, I don't want to talk politics". lol.... Well uncle Frank, I'm not going to talk politics. Sending you much love and peace. Give my dad a big kiss for me. Love you..

My favorite time hanging out with Frank was when we stayed for Taylor's baby shower. He was so welcoming and nice. He's an early riser and so am I, he'd make coffee, read the paper we would talk about the news or his adventures on the golf course and when he was doing contract work , his travels.  He was such an interesting man and a joy to visit with. I loved listening to him talk about Maureen and his family. 
He really loved her.  Frank will have a special place in my heart always. Love to all the family. Jamie


We we always remember Frank as a devoted father, husband and grandfather. We were able to spend some time on our last trip to Las Vegas with Frank and Maureen celebrating our grandsons graduation. I remember sitting with Frank on  bar stools having a toddy in their kitchen with graduation party chaos going on around us and him telling me stories of he and his brother in high school. He was hilarious and I enjoyed laughing with him so much. What different childhoods we  all had, them being east coast and us west coast but we clicked.  He will always be remembered for his toughness, his sweetness and funny and loving personality. We lost a friend but his family lost their hero.

My memory of Frank only confirms what a kind and caring individual Frank indeed was. I have known the Walker family for many years and I was so saddened to hear of Frank's passing.  Any time I or my family were visiting with the Walker family, Frank always made sure to make us feel so welcome. I always admired how he was able to make you feel comfortable and important and that he truly cared about you and what you had to say.  He was the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. It was obvious he would do anything for his family and he loved them so much and he was so proud of them all.  All of his commendable qualities will be passed down for generations and displayed every day in his children and their children and so on. I can say I know he will be terribly missed and remembered every day...
