Frances Rose Hogan

Frances “Fran” Rose Hogan, 74, was born on January 28, 1949 in Chicago, IL and passed away on December 11, 2023 in Las Vegas, NV surrounded by her family. Fran was the oldest of two children born to Goldie Rose Crotty and Francis Crotty.

Fran graduated from Carl Schurz High School in 1967. On August 17, 1968 Fran married Robert “Bob” Hogan and celebrated 55 years together. Early in her career Fran worked at Jewel grocery store prior to becoming a small business owner of a White Hen Pantry in 1986. After retiring in 1996, Bob and Fran moved to Las Vegas to enjoy full-time retirement.

Fran was a loving mother to son Michael Robert Hogan and daughter Roberta “Robyn” Maureen Hogan. Son Michael Hogan and Melissa Hogan blessed her with grandchildren Emma (20) and Aidan (17). Daughter Robyn Hogan and Tony Arastoozad blessed her with grandson Elias “Eli” Arastoozad (11). Fran was affectionately known as “Iya” to her grandchildren. Fran was a loving Aunt to Colleen (Mike) Milks and Great Aunt to their daughter Grace (16). She was everything you could ask for as a mother, grandmother, and aunt: caring, loving, protective, encouraging, and supportive.

Fran is survived by her husband Bob, son Michael (Melissa), daughter Robyn (Tony) Arastoozad, niece Colleen (Mike) Milks, her grandchildren Emma and Aidan Hogan, Elias Arastoozad, Grace Milks, sister-in-law Joanne Glass Hogan, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Patricia Crotty, mother-in-law Irene Marie Hogan, brother-in-law’s Thomas Hogan and James Hogan, sister-in-law’s Margaret Hogan and Shelmerdeane Miller, and nephew Daniel Hogan.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
