Florence Roseann Moffett

Florence Roseann Moffett, 86 of Las Vegas, went into our heavenly father’s arms on Thursday, February 5, 2015. She was born January 30, 1929 to Paul and Rose Mae Chalker in Ohio. She resided in Las Vegas since 1956. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Joseph Moffett; siblings, Thomas, Clarence, James and Lucille; daughter, Connie and sons, Thomas and Warren. Florence is survived by her sons and daughters, Terry (Becky), Joseph (Carol), Phil, Michael, Marcia (Bob), Skippy and Cheryl (John); 26 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Florence’s life revolved around her family. Holidays with her family meant the world to her. Her heart overflowed with the love of watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. She enjoyed bowling, pinochle, bingo and her Root Beer floats at Silver Ridge among many other things.

In Lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made to Silver Ridge Healthcare Center under Florence Roseann Moffett’s name. The address is 1151 South Torrey Pines, Las Vegas, NV 89146, Attn: Sandy Rabb, Social Services. She received wonderful care and attention during her 11 years that she spent there.

Visitation will take place on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm followed by Funeral Service at 2:00pm at Palm Downtown Mortuary, 1325 N. Main Street, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101.
