Evan Lee Boyd, “DJ Neva,” age 53, of Las Vegas, died on Sunday, November 5, 2023 in Las Vegas. He was born on September 7, 1970 in Bronx, New York and had been a Las Vegas resident for the past 20 years.
Mr. Boyd worked as a DJ, known as DJ Neva, worked with various New York City nightclubs before relocating to Las Vegas. He worked with every nightclub in Las Vegas, including Light, Jet and On the Record. He was co-owner of the KNYEW Clothing Brand and co-host of ‘The R.O.A.D. Podcast.’ He loved music and was one of the few fortunate people to live out his passion. His contributions to nightlife and the DJ culture will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Van and Juanita Boyd.
Survivors include his sisters: Marion Boyd and Sean Boyd; niece: Nicole Johnson and nephew: Daniel Boyd.
A local Las Vegas celebration of life is being planned.
Funeral services will be held in Manhattan, New York.
