Eva Leone Jones, age 98, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away February 7, 2024. Eva was born on December 17, 1925 in Seattle, Washington to parents Samuel and Eva Brumbaugh. In addition to her parents, Eva is preceded by her husband of over 50 years, Merritt (Bud) Jones and sisters Muriel, Daisy, Evelyn, Connie, Isabel and brother Samuel. Eva is survived by her niece Donna Joanise, nephew Ronald (Joanne) Long and grand nieces and nephews. Eva is also survived by stepchildren Larry Jones and Rosemary Jones as well as grand and great grandchildren.
Eva was a member of the Mountain View Presbyterian Church in Las Vegas and was a very active member in the Daughters of the Nile, as well as the Los Prados Women’s Club.
Eva was a strong willed, independent and loyal woman who loved her family and friends. She had a passion for shopping, the Los Angeles Dodgers and candy (especially chocolate). She loved sharing her passions and hobbies with those around her.
Eva will be missed by all and remembered fondly.
