Esperanza aka Pam is survived by her daughter Char Reeves and her husband Steve, and her son Anthony Burrage and his wife Nancy. She was preceded in death by her father Andres Marin and her mother Segunda Marin (Ramos). Pam was the last surviving sibling of twelve children.
Pam began her career in Rhode Island as a desk manager for the Navy Lodge. She continued to work at the Navy Exchange organization after moving to Oxnard, CA, where she eventually retired. She was a committed employee, as well as a dedicated Mother who raised two children as a single Mom. Pam played the role of mother and father in a time when that was not common. Despite these struggles, she always provided a loving and warm home for her children, relatives and friends. Not only was she a loving and caring Mother; she was also a wonderful grandmother to five grandchildren Faith and her husband Stephen, Candace and her husband Alex, Shane, Brenden & Jazzmine. Additionally, she loved her six great grandchildren: Madison, Matthew, Aria, Mia, Asher & Savannah.
While Pam’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember her in a way that honors her spirit. Her family invites all family & friends to join them in a Celebration of Life Ceremony. A visitation for Pam will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. A committal service will occur Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. A reception will occur Friday, December 8, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131.
Pam will be laid to rest in Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131; Heritage Mausoleum.
