Ms. Erin Shannon Hickey

Erin Shannon Hickey, 18, a student, of Las Vegas, passed away April 21, 2010. She was born Aug. 26, 1991, in Las Vegas, and was a lifetime resident of Nevada. Erin was a senior at Desert Rose High School and planned on attending UNLV in September 2010. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Hickey of Boston. Erin is survived by her mother, Shelly Lobato; sister, Kelly Hickey; brother, Ryan Hickey; grandparents, Michael and Greta Rogers, all of Las Vegas, and Karl Lobato, Zondra Lobato, both of Oregon, and Mary Hickey of Boston; great-grandmother, Phyllis Hall of Las Vegas; uncles, Dennis Lobato of Las Vegas, Michael Lobato of Dacula, Ga., and Robin Lobato of Las Vegas. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 27. Services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Donations can be made to Safe Nest of Las Vegas. Erin was a truly special person who brought joy and light to all that knew her. Erin will always be cherished and never forgotten.
